Product Details
This rare Brazilian exploitation spoof poster from the early 1980s parodies Spielberg’s E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial with a hilarious twist: instead of a lost alien child, we’re introduced to “ETÉIA,” a female extraterrestrial with a voluminous afro, long glowing finger, and mischievous charm. The tagline teases a madcap adventure: “The alien sweetheart in her crazy adventures in this wacky world.” The bold, airbrushed artwork and vibrant sci-fi blues are quintessential of Brazil’s underground comedy and parody cinema. Directed by Roberto Mauro and starring Zézé Macedo, Eliezer Motta, and a large comedic ensemble, this poster has become a cult collectible due to its absurd reinterpretation and kitschy appeal. Condition is excellent with minor fold wear and no major tears or stains. This poster has garnered increasing attention among collectors of international bootlegs and unauthorized homages. Its rarity and pop culture absurdity give it strong niche appeal.
Ships folded as originally issued. Stored flat in archival conditions.
