L'apocalisse (literally translates to "The Apocalypse"), the 1947 Giuseppe Maria Scotese Italian post World War II (WWII)/contemporary Rome fantasy melodrama (a really cool movie that contrasted the decadence of post World War II Italy with the excesses of Ancient Rome) starring Tullio Carminati, Massimo Serato, Alfredo Varelli, Vera Bergman, and Lilia Landi. Note that this is sadly a lost movie, but it sounds fascinating, and certainly, the only poster we have seen on it, a French poster, makes it all the more interesting!
