Directed by Allan Holleb and released by New World Pictures in 1974, Candy Stripe Nurses is a cheeky, fast-paced entry in the popular “nurses” exploitation series of the 1970s. A mix of comedy, romance, and social commentary (with a heavy dose of skin and mischief), this cult favorite stars Candice Rialson in one of her most iconic roles, alongside Robin Mattson, Maria Rojo, and Kimberly Hyde. The tagline “They’ll give you fast-fast-fast relief!” and the promise to “Keep abreast of the medical world” capture the film’s tone perfectly.

• Condition: Poor to Fair. This vintage poster shows significant age and wear. There is heavy staining and water damage, particularly in the upper left quadrant, with visible brown and blue stains, as well as multiple areas of paper loss and surface abrasions around the edges. The folds are heavily creased and there is darkening/discoloration throughout. The back of the poster shows handwritten annotations (“Enfermeras Nocturnas”) and a stamp from a Venezuelan cinema distributor. Despite the damage, this is a rare original piece from a cult classic, perfect for restoration or display in a grindhouse-themed collection.
