the 1972 theatrical release of Snow Bear, the 1970 Gunther von Fritsch Walt Disney arctic polar bear adventure television (TV) mini-series ("Paka, monarch of the frozen north ...tamed by a gentle Eskimo boy"; about an orphan polar bear cub that is found and raised by an Eskimo boy, but when the bear grows up, he becomes a threat to the village, which must be dealt with) starring Laura Itta, Steve Kaleak, and Rossman Peetook. Note that in 1972, the two episodes of this TV show were edited into this 90-minute film, re-titled "Track of the Giant Snow Bear". The movie does not appear to have ever been released in the U.S., and movie paper on it is exceptionally rare!
