Description:

Offered here is an original 1963 U.S. one-sheet movie poster for 4 for Texas, the stylish Western-comedy directed by Robert Aldrich and starring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Anita Ekberg, and Ursula Andress. Blending gunfights, glamour, and Rat Pack wit, the film follows two rival con men forced into uneasy partnership against a common enemy—a spirited mix of Western action and 1960s Vegas-era charm.

The poster design captures that sense of swagger and humor with vivid color lithography, caricature-style portraits, and bold typography, typical of Warner Bros.’ early-1960s promotional art. The layout features all four stars in dynamic poses, balancing adventure and playful rivalry, making it one of the more memorable ensemble designs of the decade.

  • Condition: Folded, as originally issued. Displays visible signs of aging, edge wear, pinholes, and some staining consistent with age and theatrical use (see photos for details). No restoration.

  • Provenance: Authentic theatrical poster with original printer’s mark and Spanish-language back title (“4 por Texas”). One of a kind in our collection – only copy available.

  • Studio: Warner Bros.

  • Printing: Litho in U.S.A., 1963

Perfect for collectors of Rat Pack memorabilia, vintage Westerns, or classic comedy posters from the Golden Age of Cinema. This piece bursts with nostalgic energy and bold design.

Note:

As a Rat Pack collectible, this poster is a standout—uniting two of Hollywood’s most charismatic icons at the height of their fame. The blend of Western motifs and pop-art humor embodies the early-1960s transition from classic Hollywood to modern studio style. Highly desirable for collectors of Sinatra, Martin, or Aldrich’s 1960s work, as well as those focusing on crossover genre design.
