An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41")
Season of the Witch, the 1979 George A. Romero witchcraft horror thriller re-release ("Every night is Halloween"; "First - Night Of The Living Dead then - Dawn Of The Dead now - George A. Romero's Season of the Witch") starring Jan White, Raymond Laine (billed as "Ray Laine"), Joedda McClain, Bill Thunhurst, and Ann Muffly. Note that there is considerable conflicting information about the release years and titles of this film. It appears to have been filmed in 1971 under the title of "Jack's Wife", but the distributor changed it to "Hungry Wives" and re-edited the film. Based on newspaper ads, it appears to have been theatrically released in December of 1972 and marketed as a softcore sexploitation movie. After Romero's success with "Night of the Living Dead" and "Dawn of the Dead", the film was re-released (and possibly re-edited again) in 1979 and marketed as a horror film. Because of the title, marketing and possible editing changes, we are listing "Hungry Wives" separately from "Season of the Witch".
