The Misfits, the 1961 John Huston modern-day romantic cowboy western ("It shouts and sings with life... explodes with love!"; "Never again will the screen hold such excitement!"; "The world's greatest photographers shoot 'the Misfits'!"; with a screenplay by Arthur Miller) starring Clark Gable (in his last film), Marilyn Monroe (in her last completed film), Montgomery Clift, Thelma Ritter, Eli Wallach, and James Barton (in his last film). Note that Arthur Miller was at the time married to Monroe, but the marriage fell apart during filming.
